15g 100% Baby Merino Wool yarn

Size 3.5mm Crochet Hook

2 pcs. Buttons

Gauge:

5sc and 5 rows= 1 inch,or

4sc and 4 rows= 2 cm

Stitches Used: Abbreviations:

st(s) – stitch(es) RS – Right Side

ch – chain stitch WS – Wrong Side

dbltr – double treble

sc- single crochet

sl st – slip stitch

Double treble:

• Yarn over hook three times, then insert the hook into next stitch.
  
• Yarn over hook and draw yarn through stitch – you have five loops on the hook.
• Yarn over hook and draw through two loops, (there are now four loops remaining on the hook),
  *yarn over hook and draw through two loops**, repeat * to ** twice more.
  This completes one double treble crochet.
  

Rnd 1: ch 10, sc on the 2^nd ch from the hook, 8sc,ch1,turn (RS)

Rnd 2: 9sc across,ch1,turn (WS)

Rnd 3: 9sc across,ch1,turn (RS)

Rnd 4: 9sc across,ch1,turn (WS)

Rnd 5: 9sc across,ch1,turn (RS)

Rnd 6: (WS) sc on the 1^st, dbltr on the next, sc,dbltr,sc,dbltr,sc,dbltr,sc,ch1,turn ( 4 dbltr total)

Rnd 7: 9sc evenly across, ch1 ,turn (RS)

Rnd 8: (WS) sc on the 1^st, dbltr on the next, sc,dbltr,sc,dbltr,sc,dbltr,sc,ch1,turn ( 4 dbltr total)

Rnd 9: 9sc evenly across, ch1, turn (RS)

Rnd 10-33: Repeat Rnd 8 & Rnd 9

(You have now 14 x 4 rows with dbltr across)

Rnd 34: 9sc, ch1, turn

Rnd 35: 9sc,ch1, turn

Rnd 36: (Button Hole) sc,ch4,skip 3sc,sc on the next, ch4, skip 3sc,sc on the last, turn

Rnd 37: do 4sc on the 4ch space,another 4sc on the next 4ch space. Sl st on the beg. & fasten off.

Attach 2 buttons on the other end.
